About Us

Standish Press was created in 2019 by Gary Brin as an independent-minded publishing company to republish previously published nonfiction titles as part of a series of collections that weaves together narratives covering specific decades and centuries throughout American and world history. Collections of new and previously published fiction titles, including notable short stories will also be published occasionally. Select titles of nonfiction titles from the years 1950-2025 will also be republished in separate editions if deemed culturally important to history. Once a year new works of nonfiction will also be published focusing on true life experiences of everyday people facing extraordinary circumstances. Additional titles centering on social issue opinions and events will also be considered.
