Submissions
Standish Press is an eclectic publishing company that sees value in various types of writings from independent authors. Mainly books written in forms of diaries, letters, biographies, autobiographies, memoirs, narratives and true crime are most valued. General fiction of which will be considered for publication are mysteries, romance, suspense and selected young adult. Children, westerns, fantasy, science fiction, horror, and graphic novels will not be considered. How to, exercise, diet, and self-help books are not being considered presently as well. Manuscripts must be legally copyrighted (with proof) and professionally edited before being accepted. All books will be checked for plagiarism when submitted. Submissions of first two chapters only (in unlocked PDF) are required for consideration. Please include full name and working phone number for quick reply. No texts allowed.
PS Previously released self-published titles will not be considered for publication by Standish Press. All submitted material must be original and unpublished in order to qualify for submission review.
